Michigan ARPSC (ARES & RACES) Membership Requirements:
Published in the "ARRL Michigan Section ARPSC Guidelines Manual", the following ICS/NIMS requirements were considered the "standard" to go by. MOST counties in Michigan have adopted these standards, while counties with low Ham population and Emergency Managers who just need bodies, have thrown them out or have scaled them down. Here in Washtenaw we will need to decide where to set the bar, or even if we want a bar at all !!!

SAMPLE membership requirements (copied from Monroe County ARPSC):
Washtenaw will need to decide upon what levels of membership there will be, based upon the individuals level of training and activity. Below is a chart of requirements set by the Monroe county ARPSC organization. I fully expect Washtenaw's requirements will be FAR different and FAR less stringent.
